Retrieve contain Fluocinolone; Hydroquinone; Tretinoin is a combination of a corticosteroid, a retinoid similar to vitamin A, and a drug used to lighten the skin. It is used on the skin to treat melasma. (Melasma is a condition that causes dark spots on the face, especially the cheeks and forehead.)

INDICATIONS

Retrieve is used to lighten the dark patches of skin (also called hyperpigmentation, melasma, "liver spots," "age spots," freckles) caused by pregnancy, birth control pills, hormone medicine, or injury to the skin.

PRECAUTIONS

• Before using fluocinolone/tretinoin/hydroquinone, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to other corticosteroids (e.g., hydrocortisone, prednisone); or to vitamin A-related drugs (other retinoid such as isotretinoin); or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients (such as sulfites), which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.
• Before using this medication, tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: asthma, open sores or broken areas of skin (especially on the face or hands), other skin conditions (e.g., eczema, psoriasis).
• Too much bleaching of the skin might occur in some cases, resulting in an undesirable cosmetic effect in those with darker skin. Consult your doctor for more details.
• Rarely, using corticosteroid medications for a long time can make it more difficult for your body to respond to physical stress. Therefore, before having surgery or emergency treatment, or if you get a serious illness/injury, tell your doctor or dentist that you are using this medication or have used this medication within the past few months.
• Use sunscreen SFF-30 in day time during treatment.
• Avoid sun light exposure.
• Patient may use moisturizers and /or cosmetics during the day.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
During pregnancy, this medication should not be used. It may harm an unborn baby. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
It is not known whether these drugs pass into breast milk when applied to the skin. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. Avoid skin-to-skin contact with your infant in areas where this product has been used.

DIRECTIONS

• This medicine is for external use only. Follow the directions on the prescription label.
• Gently wash your face with a mild cleanser.
• Do not use a washcloth to cleanse, just use your fingers, rinse and pat your skin dry.
• Apply just enough cream to cover the discolored spots and about 1/2 inch of the normal skin surrounding the affected area. Lightly rub onto your skin.
• The medicine should become invisible almost at once. If you can still see the medicine, you are using too much.
• Use your medicine at regular intervals.
• Do not use it more often than directed.
